Malvina Ovanezova is a licensed California attorney, admitted to practice before all California state courts.

Prior to joining as an associate attorney for the Law Offices of Catherine A. Schwartz, Malvina worked for the County of Riverside for almost eight years. She first worked in the Department of Public Social Services, performing eligibility for public assistance programs. Malvina was later promoted to Child Support Services where she initiated, established and enforced child support judgments. She was able to learn the process of DCSS from beginning to end, assisting with locating non-custodial parents, establishing paternity, child support and medical support.

Malvina attended law school at night while working full time for four years, finishing second in her class. She received her undergraduate degree from University of California, Riverside, and her J.D. from California Southern Law School.

Malvina has extensive experience in all areas of family law, and is dedicated to providing the best possible representation to her clients. Malvina is listed on the Riverside list of Minor’s Counsel. Malvina also has experience in criminal defense matters, representing clients up to preliminary hearing and in trial. Malvina volunteers as an educational representative for Project Graduate since 2016, assisting children in the juvenile system in obtaining their high school diplomas.
